Stacee

I am a Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist.  I have been riding horses my entire life.  I grew up riding Arabians in the rail classes, endurance, and then dressage, which got me hooked.

I moved to San Juan Bautista, CA at an early age to become a working student for Elizabeth Searle,  J Ashton Moore, and Laurel Bruun at Osierlea.  While working for them I was able to assist in the training of horses from weanlings to Grand Prix.  I rode 10-13 horses a day with Jeff or Laurel watching my every move.  I showed several horses while at Osierlea, one being the KWPN stallion Vosmaer in Young Riders.  I still work regularly with Jeff Moore, traveling as often as possible for lesson when he does not come to Reno. I have also started working regularly with Kathy Pavlich.

I moved back to Reno and from there I started to travel, exploring the country and ending up in Alaska at one point riding horses and giving dressage lessons.  My adventures brought me back to Reno again and again, where I have settled now.

I have also taken clinics with the Baron Hans Von Blixen-Finecke, Heather Blitz, Mary Wanless, Chelsey Sibley, Scott Hassler, Catherine Haddad-Staller, Rachel Saavedra,  Brian Hafner, Ingo Pape, Willy Arts, and Kathy Pavlich.

I enjoy helping and teaching clients that have an eagerness to learn, try new things, have open minds, and that are dedicated to developing their skills.  Working with young horses is also a passion of mine.  I enjoy staying with a horse as long as possible to give them a solid foundation. I have recently teamed up with Jocelyn Tackitt to start young horses together.
